We will be sending out mid-year reports today, Friday 5th March, by email. We feel it is important to touch base formally to evaluate your child’s learning so far this year and look to see where they need to go next.
The government guidelines currently do not enable us to hold these meetings face to face, so we will be using Microsoft Teams. Please return your appointment requests by Monday 8th March so that we can allocate meeting times. These meetings will last 5 mins and are an opportunity for you to talk about your child’s report and ask any questions about their learning.
Before school club
Before school club will run from 8am every morning from next week. Please book in advance should you wish to use this facility.
After school clubs
After school clubs will begin again next week to help with childcare. Details have been sent out should you wish for your child to attend. Unfortunately the craft club on a Monday will not be running until after Easter.
Online safety information
A new document with advice and support from the government regarding online safety has been produced and we have posted this on the school website under e-safety
Hot school meals
Hot school meals are now being provided in school and will be available for all pupils across the school should they want it. The menus are on the school website.
Amazon Wish List
We have added a few more items to the wish list on Amazon of books and resources which we are in need of. Should you wish to, you can purchase some resources for the school. We would be really grateful for any help you feel you could give. Please use the link https://amzn.eu/d1VeZef
A big thank you for the items which we have already received.
Please be mindful that we have children in school with nut allergies. We ask that you do not put items with nuts or nut products into lunchboxes.
We are aware that throughout the lockdown time many people have been affected in many different ways. If your financial position has changed and you think you may be eligible for free school meals please contact the school office for more information.
It is lovely to be able to welcome all children back to school however it is very important that everyone sticks to the rules so that we can remain open for all pupils. Please do not arrange play dates or other “get-togethers” until the Government guidelines allow this safely in the summer.
Cathy Gouldstone and Lucy Kent and all the staff at North Marston School.
