Newsletter 01.04.21

Dear Parent/Guardian,

We are pleased to welcome Mrs Carla Duggan onto our staffing team after Easter. She will be working every morning supporting pupils in class and every lunchtime.

Happy Birthday to Yvie in YR who celebrated her birthday this week. Over the Easter break Lacey in Y6 and Kai in Y4 will celebrate their birthdays.

Extra curricular clubs

Next term we have set up some additional clubs.

Gymnastics will run on Wednesday but is already fully booked as COVID regulations limit our clubs to 15, Smart Raspberry cookery club will run on Thursdays, but unfortunately the craft club will not run next term. Piano and guitar lessons in school are also running. Please contact the club provider if you require any more information.

Remote learning feedback

We would really value your feedback regarding the remote learning experience over the last few weeks. Please could you email the office with your thoughts about what worked well and what could have been more useful or helpful.

The spring plant pots have sold well and we have raised £134.91. Thank you for your support.

Online safety information

A new document with advice and support from the government regarding online safety has been produced and we have posted this on the school website under e-safety. We have been made aware that a number of children have been accessing online games which are not appropriate for their age. There has been bad language and unkind messages also being sent. Please ensure that you supervise your child when online and follow the safety protocols.

Amazon Wish List

We have added a few more items to the wish list on Amazon of books and resources which we are in need of. Should you wish to, you can purchase some resources for the school. We would be really grateful for any help you feel you could give. Please use the link

A big thank you for the items which we have already received.

Food allergies

Please be mindful that we have children in school with nut allergies. We ask that you do not put items with nuts or nut products into lunchboxes.
